UTMB-Galveston Research Study Rebuts Recent Research on Cardiac Hazards of Testosterone Treatment

A study conducted by researchers at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston rebuts recent research that suggested the steroid hormone may be hazardous to men’s cardiovascular health. Dr. Jacques Baillargeon, UTMB-Galveston professor, says the study found patients with hypogonadism who were already at higher risk for heart attack lowered that risk with testosterone treatment.
